Narrowed down to
Sony 1gb memory, 160gb hard drive, 15.4″ screen for $700.
vs:
HP Pavilion 2gb & 240, 17″ screen for $900.
Both have Core 2 Duo Processor.
Wondering about speed, heat, weight, battery life, graphics, etc.

hp and get at least a 3 year warranty
depends what ur gunna use it for.
If your gunna use it for gaming, high entertainment, and a lot of music, pictures, and videos the go with the hp.
But if ur just gunna use it for web browsing some music, pictues, and document processing then go with the sony. If dont need theat big of a hard drive but are gunna use it for gaming or entertainment then go with the sony and upgrade the memory to 2gb if possible….
