I want to make my laptop HP Pavilion dv6000 battery last as long as I can before I buy another battery. What are some tips that will increase my battery’s life cycle.
I always listen to music and use it about 8 to 10 hours daily.
Should it always be connected to the power outlet and what are other tips do you suggest?
How long do laptop batteries reguarly last? I bought my laptop 15 days ago.

i have mine always connected when i am not going somewhere the lifecycel is reduced everytime you use the battary it usually stays “good” for a few hundered cycles a cycle is all the way down and back up again but if you only go half way it counts as half a cycle. but it still goes down even if you dont use it. but not as fast as if you do.
to save battery life so you can stay longer not plugged in make sure the display is all the way to its lowest bright ness setting. make sure not a lot of stuff is running play with the power tools to use aggressive power saving.
