The screen is larger and with a full (though shrunken) keyboard makes surfing a lot easier. As it is Unix / Linux you are not limited to Apple approved $oftware through the iTunes store. There's a lot of Gnu software which can be used to customize your EEEPC as you like. There's an EEEPC Yahoo group so you can join in the forum and see what they think. Good luck.
