I trade my desktop with such specs as 750GB hard drive, 8GB RAM, Bluray/HD DVD/DVD/CD player and burner (not bluray burner), keyboard, mouse, ac power adapter for a laptop. This desktop is the HP Pavilion Elite M9510F.
FOR
laptop with 6 hour battery life, 4GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, and docking station. The laptop is an HP dv6646us.
Both have Windows Vista.
Is This A Fair Trade (for Computers)?

pros: portability… already mentioned
cons: very limited upgrade potential… that right there would make me think twice about the trade
you have a good desktop system so the only reason I can see that you would need a laptop is school, right ??
I went and checked out this laptop at a few different site and it is mediocer at best
Sounds like you’re giving up more than you are getting, other than portability.
