Anyone Know About Sandisks And Laptops?
October 21st, 2009My laptop (Its a hp pavilion widescreen, only about a year old.) has one of those SD readers on the side, for picture uploads and such, but do I have to do something special to use it? When I put the card in, nothing happens and It doesn’t even seem to load or anything. I heard using the USB really sucks that battery life, so i would rather use this method instead. Anyone know what I should do?

Should I Be Worried About My Laptop?
October 10th, 2009i was convinced, not only by myself but also by many others who abserved my setback, that i had come by a virus on my new hp pavilion entertainment notebook. The trouble began when the network icon on my task bar was deleted. “Just a small annoyance,” i thought until about three days later two more icons the battery and volume icons disapeared as well. This bothered me so. I asked around and saved everything important to a flash drive (not including the programs such as “hp media smart” or anything of that nature.) At this point i worried and firgured i’ll restart my computer maybe its having a slow day as we all know is not unusual to happen to a pc. Well on returning to my desktop i noticed all icons were rearranged and some deleted. the programs were still acessable, but knowing i had not done anything myself to my desktop or taskbar icons that there must be something up. Now last night i had gone to my computer expert of a brother, and upon showing him that the icons were gone I right clicked to the taskbar menu and went to the options where it said for the first time that i was enabled to switch on the missing taskbar icons. i was both relieved and in a way feeling stupid. well i set all the icons back to the way they appeared to be originally and fixed my ddesktop and have shut down, retstarted ect. and no problems such as i have told you have occurred. Now all i want to know is if i should have this checked up on, but this could be just a glitch counteracting with something i may have downloaded to the computer. if no answers are found ill be lead to believe im slowly going insane…
