On my HP Pavilion dv2000 I always have a little battery icon that shows how much life is left before I have to charge, it’s in the right bottom corner of the screen on the toolbar. Im running Vista.
So it disappeared the other day.
If I right click the toolbar- I go into “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties”. I click the Notification Area tab. Now, the “power” system icon is there, but the box is shaded gray as if I cannot select it. WHY?!

My Hp Pavilion Dv6000 Laptop’s Battery Will Display Percentage, But Not Time Left On The Battery?
May 18th, 2009I got my laptop about a year ago and the battery won’t diplay how much time is left on the battery. it will only display the percentage of the battery power. Can someone please tell me how I make it display how much time the battery has until it discharges?
