New Amd Athlon(tm) Neo X2 Dual-core L335 Processor, Is It Good?

HP’s new Dm3z laptops have this processor in it and the 1.6GHz throws me off. My HP has a Dual Core 2 Duo with 2.0Ghz. Can someone explain to me if these are any good? Looking to get this computer for my girlfriend http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/328626/HP-Pavilion-dm3-1030us-13-3/

Do I Need A Good Graphics Card If I Play Only A Few Games?

Do I need a good graphics card for my laptop if I only play games like rollercoaster tycoon and sim city 4? I purchased a hp pavilion dv5-1235dx from Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;jsessionid=K4IZGOWHMFWGNKC4D3FVAHQ?skuId=9167652&type=product&id=1218041150023 or I can get a laptop with the same specs but it has a NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. The other difference is the battery life on the one from best buy is great because its a 12 cell. How Do I Know If My Pc’s Battery Is Good?

For example, i have had it on for about 2 1/2 hours, and its at 37%. How do i know if my battery is bad or it’s normal? I have a, “HP Pavilion dv4″ laptop. I bought it about a year and a half ago.
p.s. I did make sure im not on the high power option, it’s on “Energy Saver”
