Laptop Problems

Do I need a good graphics card for my laptop if I only play games like rollercoaster tycoon and sim city 4? I purchased a hp pavilion dv5-1235dx from Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp;jsessionid=K4IZGOWHMFWGNKC4D3FVAHQ?skuId=9167652&type=product&id=1218041150023 or I can get a laptop with the same specs but it has a NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. The other difference is the battery life on the one from best buy is great because its a 12 cell.
