My laptop (Its a hp pavilion widescreen, only about a year old.) has one of those SD readers on the side, for picture uploads and such, but do I have to do something special to use it? When I put the card in, nothing happens and It doesn’t even seem to load or anything. I heard using the USB really sucks that battery life, so i would rather use this method instead. Anyone know what I should do?

Hp Or Sony? Which Of These Laptops Should I Buy?

Sony 1gb memory, 160gb hard drive, 15.4″ screen for $700.
vs:
HP Pavilion 2gb & 240, 17″ screen for $900.
Both have Core 2 Duo Processor.
Wondering about speed, heat, weight, battery life, graphics, etc.

Which Laptops Are Better Overall; Toshiba Or Hp?
September 18th, 2009I’m looking into buying a Toshiba [Model: U405D-S2852] or an HP Pavilion [tx2510us]. Which one is more reliable, and has a better reputation. Also, is it worth buying extended warranties? Please take into account battery life, overall reliability, and processors/RAM/HD (and all that other good stuff..)
