well i have got this mobile pc-hp pavilion dv6516tx and i have so many problems regarding the battery i mean the battery backup for this laptop is just one to one and half hours.
i have been given contradictory advices by ppl as to how to maximize the battery backup.
i wanted to know that should i be using ac power when i’m not mobile and my battery is charged upto some level say 70% or should i exhaust my battery meaning discharge it completely and then put it on ac?
please help me out!!!!

I Need Tips To Conserve Battery Life.?
July 26th, 2009I want to make my laptop HP Pavilion dv6000 battery last as long as I can before I buy another battery. What are some tips that will increase my battery’s life cycle.
I always listen to music and use it about 8 to 10 hours daily.
Should it always be connected to the power outlet and what are other tips do you suggest?
How long do laptop batteries reguarly last? I bought my laptop 15 days ago.

Like 8 to 10 hours a day. How much will its battery life last?
How many years if I use it about 10 hours daily?
My HP Pavilion is dv6000. I think it’s a recent model.
When the battery runs out, how can I change it and where and how much will it cost?

Hp Pavilion G60-120us Does It Get Hot Easily? How Is Battey Life When Not Being Used?
July 13th, 2009Hey I am thinking about getting a HP Pavilion G60-120US but in the past my laptops always get so hot so easily. My Gateway literally would burn my legs sitting on my lap! My daughters Dell is great and does not get hot easily but I have credit with a place I can get the HP Pavilion G60-120US at a good price. Also I know battery life depends on what you are doing but if it is not being used and just sitting around what is battery life on this usually?
Any comments on those who have this laptop are welcome! I plan to use mostly for work which is internet based but would like it to be albe to do more of course. Also speaker volume is a plus since my last laptop was so quite even with volume all the way up.
