Hi. I have a HP Pavilion dv2000. The laptop has been constantly getting super hot. The bottom part/underneath part of this thing has gotten so hot that the keys start to heat up! I have had it for a little over a year. Also, from day one, the volume key freezes up the screen. I don’t like this computer 
Any suggestions?
p.s. The battery also runs out quickly, it has a tendency to go for roughly an hour and then nearly die, and has had that pattern for about a month.

Laptop Is Overheating?
September 1st, 2009Hi! I have an HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop. It has overheated twice before and i’ve sent it in to get it fixed. However i still feel my laptop getting hot! so to stop this I use a battery thats quite large and allows air circulation…ive also put a FAN rite in front of the vent on my laptop…is this a good idea? Or will i be damaging anything? thanks =)
