My battery pack on my laptop lasts about 1-hour…..is this about the right time for a laptop…I need to know because I have only had this laptop since November and I need to call HP if I am not getting my recommended usage out of this laptop. I do not think an 1-hour is a good time. I have never owned a laptop so, I am asking you guys.

University & Desktop Replacement – Hp Probook 5310m Or Pavilion Dm3?
October 13th, 2009I need a laptop under $1000 CAD for Microsoft Office programs, internet, streaming, and moderate/frequent video and image processing. It’ll be for uni, but will also permanently replace my desktop computer. I really, really want that aluminum case and a medium-sized LED screen. Battery life and portability aren’t that important to me unless they are something to be frustrated at.
The ProBook has either:
Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 (2.26 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1066 MHz FSB) $899 USD
or
Intel Celeron SU2300 (1.20 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)
$699 USD
The Core 2 Duo seems a bit too high-end and expensive but the Celeron looks too weak as well.
The dm3 has Intel Pentium SU4100 for $649 USD, but again, I’m not sure if it’s too weak to be my primary computer.
Can someone help me choose the laptop (& processor) best for me?

Hp Pavilion Dv6815nr????????????
August 16th, 2009I couldnt find anything on the internet about this so i have some questions about this:
Is it eay to carry around?
Is it worth the money?
What are its good qualities?
What are its bad qualities?
Does it have good battery life?
Please dont recommend me any other laptops.
Im using this for School, Home, Videos, Music, and other things like that.

i just bought this laptop :] for college
id like to know i what anti virus program i should look for ??
also do i need to purchase MS office ? because it asks me for sum sort of code everytime i try to use it ..
is this a good notebook ?
what are some actions i should take to keep it in good condition for ex. i was told to only charge it when the battery is low i was told over charging could slowly kill battery life ..
are they pretty sturdy ??
the battery life kinda sucks .. is there a way i can fix ithat ??

We Have A Hp Pavilion Tx2510us And The Circuit City Stores Are Closed, Where Do We Go To Get A Replacement?
August 8th, 2009We are paying insurance i know that. so they should give us a replacement..At 1st the battery would get too hot and then it would turn off, and not turn on till it was cooler. Last night the laptop fell and now the screen is all cracked. How can i see if my insurance that we are paying covers this? I think it does because the guy said i could break my laptop and they would give me a new one but he said dont do that. hah but still…i need help!!
