My Laptop Screen Stays Blank When I Switch It On.whats Wrong With It??

so its a ‘hp pavilion entertainment pc’. the display lights work ok but the screen stays blank. i got really impatient,so i took out the battery n put it on ac power n tried switching it on again. it worked then n i put the battery back in again.
its been like this since a week.what do i do??
i hope my english isnt too bad..u might have trouble understanding what im trying 2 say

Help With Laptop Screen Flicker?

I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook (OS: Vista) and lately I’ve been having trouble with the screen flickering/dimming sporadically. It does not turn black or white or have lines running across it though, it’s just like someone is constantly changing the brightness up and down.
It started happening a few weeks ago but it’s gotten worse. Sometimes changing the angle of the screen or closing the lid and reopening it helps, but not for very long. It’s definitely worse if it’s just running on battery power.
I’ve looked around online a little and it seems a lot of people with HP notebooks are having this or similar problems. Anyone know what might be wrong or how I can fix it? Have you had the same problem? How did you get rid of it?

Hp Pc Won’t Turn On After Blue Screen Error?

My hp pavilion a320n pc won’t turn on anymore. The power button which lights up normally now just blinks. I’ve had previous problems before this about 2 yrs ago.
Initially my pc would just turn off or restart for no reason at all. A technician came and said the small battery was low and also changed the fan. It worked for two months and then the fan broke down and I replaced it. Pc worked fine for a couple of months and then it began getting the blue screen. Initially I just restarted the computer to get it working again. Then about 3 months ago the blue screen stayed on permanently without letting the computer boot up at all. Hp said to start in safe mode but it didn’t work, the blue screen keeps appearing and doesn’t it boot in safe mode. System recovery also won’t work because the blue screen interrupts the process. Hp said to unplug and replug the hard drive but that didn’t work either. Now since a month ago the pc doesn’t even power on, the power button just blinks and nothing happens. Is there anyway to fix or is it time to buy a new a desktop. I don’t want to constantly use my laptop and deplete its battery faster than it has to.

My Work Laptop Wouldnt Start, Now Its Started But Screen Is Blank… Bad Video?? Plz Help!?

i have a hp pavilion ze 4200 laptop for my work computer. i shut the thing off last night and went to turn it on a few hours later and it wouldn’t start up. i had it plugged into the power cord, the light showing the power connections was lit on the laptop. I took some of the parts off and plugged them back in (the ram) but i can’t get the entire plastic case off. I blew some dust around in the fan and restarted. This time it booted up (I can hear and feel the fan running) and all the lights (keyboard, power) are on, but the screen is black. I tried hooking it up to my monitor for my home Dell PC, but it didnt work, although it didnt work when I hooked it up to all my other laptops, so I think my dell monitor is just too finicky to hook up to other stuff (it has like three connectors and a drive.. which i didnt bother trying to install on my broken work laptop). Last thing, when i started my broken work laptop, it had this beep code: one beep, three beeps, three beeps, and then one beep…. then no more beeping. I am thinking something is wrong with the video card, however, I can’t get the back off to find it, and even if I did, im not sure what it would look like or how to replace it…. then once i got the laptop running, (with blank screen) i couldnt shut it off! finally the battery died and it shut off and now won’t even turn on again? any ideas? i need to back up the info on it or i’ll have to do a weeks worth of work again! thanks…

Laptop Screen Problem…help?!?

Hey everyone, I’m having a HUGE problem with my laptop.
Recently it has been playing up: when I’m using my laptop, from out of no where the screen goes green and fuzzy, not completely green but green shades everywhere! And when that happens everything stops responding, like I can’t move my mouse, i can’t type etc. So I tried closing and opening the lid, but that doesn’t work as when I open it the screen is just blank. So I just turn off my laptop and turn it on again, and ocassionally nothing appears on the screen. I hear the startup music but thats it, no picture.
I’ve tried fixing it- I’ve tried system restore and a C: scan disk but nothing works! It still does the same thing!
Is it a virus? Or is there a problem with my laptop or parts of it like the display driver? If it helps, recently I’ve made a post about my laptop battery and how that too is playing up, so does it have anything to do with my laptop acting up now?
Update: Now my laptop’s screen doesn’t show any picture! Like it lights up but there is no picture…just a blank screen. The startup music also plays and everything.
Someone please help as I’m really desperate at the moment
(I have an HP Pavilion dv2615tx on Vista Home Premium
