Allright I just bought a laptop from Circuit City. It’s an HP Pavilion dv 1000 Notebook. Pretty new, it came right off the shelf. One problem I’m seeing is that I charged the brand new battery and the little lightning bolt charge light went off, so I assumed it was finished charging. And when I loaded it up and checked the battery icon in the system tray, it was at 96% which was good enough for me. But I used it for probably a total of 15 minutes and the battery was around 80% already. Is that normal for laptop batteries or did I not charge it properly?
Asus Netbook Webcam Trouble?

and i installed the msn messenger for this certain laptop which is … amsn
i can view my friends cams but when i try it says no webcam detected and obviously i have a build in webcam so i dont know what to do
also any site that you can use your cam on also says no cam detected
and help appreciated

Anyone Have Trouble Charging Their Laptop Battery And Running Off The Ac Adapter At The Same Time?
June 9th, 2009I have an HP pavilion dv8000 and can not get the battery to charge while the ac adapter powers the computer and charges at the same time. The battery only charges when my laptop is off. If my laptop is on and is plugged into the ac adapter it automatically kicks off the ac and runs off battery and my battery and power light start flashing. Also if I take the battery out of the laptop and run straight from the ac adapter the computer shuts off upon loading the desktop. Anyone have similar problems? I called HP they sent me a new ac adapter but obviously it did not work. They recommended sending in my laptop for service but can not part with it because of work. I appreciate any help thanks.

Help!! Acer Notebook Trouble….?
May 28th, 2009i just got an ACER aspire one (whatever) netbook i used a couple of hours ago and it was fine. i was able to do everything with it (everything worked) but now i just turned it on, used a few programs closed them down and then closed the laptop (netbook) – when i opened it again it is just a blank screen – the power button is lit up and so is the wireless connection light but i can’t get any response from it.
please help! what can i do to fix it?
